Hey there friend! It’s me, your old pal Sock Cop just letting you know I’ll be streaming on Twitch tonight from around 7-9 Central US Sock Time. Might start a few minutes early. I have to wake up earlier these days, so that means I should go to bed earlier, otherwise Morning Sock gets mad at Nighttime Sock.
I’ve had some technical difficulties with the streaming computer lately, so I updated my programs and whatnot, which caused my sound effects and other gimmicks to stop working.
I spent some time the past few days trying to fix it all, and I think I’ve got the ones I use the most back in order. Some custom sounds might not work still, but I’ll keep putting them back together.
Also, I’m working on a brand-new gimmick or two that I hope you’ll enjoy!
I Love Vending Machines
This is an older article, but I think about it a lot. Japan is well known for their awesome vending machines that sell or do cool stuff, but this German Sausage Machine is pretty great too.
Most vending machines I’ve actually seen are pretty boring. That’s a shame when you look online and see what’s possible at some cool ones. Every once in a while, you might find one at a neat little museum or something that sells poems or tiny art and whatnot. But mostly it’s just Pepsi and Doritos. There is one near a grocery store here that sells fake eyelashes, but sadly I have no need for eyelashes. If I ever won the lottery I’d put weird vending machines around, just for the chuckles.
